I’ll be the first in my family to earn an university level, which’s something I hold really near to my heart.
My family and I moved to the United States in 2014 We selected Memphis as our second home to begin fresh and develop a far better future.
When I graduated secondary school in 2020, I decided to join the Military Book so I might function permanent to aid support my family members monetarily. Along the way, my parents always advised me of the relevance of an university level. Honestly, I dealt with the decision between picking work over institution.
That transformed when I uncovered the College of Memphis Global (UofM Global) where I might make my degree 100 % online from an accredited, nationally identified Carnegie R 1 college. The flexibility of the program made it possible to stabilize work, life, and education. When I enrolled, I recognized I made the appropriate choice.
As an on-line student, I stayed involved with campus life with profession fairs and joining student companies like the Culture of Personnel Administration. I wanted to obtain the most out of my college experience and get in touch with individuals who shared my passion for human resources.
Last November, I deployed to Kuwait, with a month left of fall term. Thanks to the assistance and structure of UofM Worldwide, I was able to finish solid, also making the Dean’s Listing. I’m taking 4 classes while serving on active duty, and I’m pleased to claim I’ll be graduating in May.
Being able to serve my nation, sustain my family, and make my degree means the globe to me. I feel all set to take on whatever comes next.
